The Blooming Grove Wind Farm generates enough electricity to power around 69,000 homes each year. The project supported approximately 500 jobs during the 12-month construction period and will invest nearly $120 million in the local community through property taxes, landowner payments, wages, and benefits.

“The turbines generate over $900,000 a year in tax revenue just to the school district, so it was a huge benefit to the school. The project took the school district from having a tough time to being in good shape. The school is now financially stable, and they’ve got a stream of income."

Real impact means inclusive impact. On June 6, 2024, we invited an LGBTQ+ community of energy professionals and advocates to join us in shifting the narrative of environmental justice to one that's more reflective of the communities most impacted.

"Charging stations have to be in safe locations to be fully accessible, and electric buses won’t do the queer community any good if LGBTQ+ people have to risk their well-being to ride them." Science and technology company Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany, signed power purchase agreements with Matrix Renewables and Renantis, with the guidance of Trio, to build five renewable energy projects. The scale of this project puts Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany, well on track to achieve its climate targets: By 2030, Merck aims to cover 80% of its worldwide purchased electricity from renewable sources and reduce indirect greenhouse emissions by 50%.
