Workshop: Automotive & Industrial Manufacturing Scope 3 Collaboration
An invitation-only event during the Scope 3 Peer Group’s Strategy Days in Chicago
This workshop will bring together leaders from automotive and industrial manufacturing to explore practical models for accelerating Scope 3 supplier engagement and reducing emissions from purchased electricity. Speakers include representatives from Suppliers Partnership for the Environment (SP), Trio, Ford, Honda and Toyota.
Participants will learn about the structure and progress of the Transform Auto program, developed by SP with Trio, and discuss transferable insights for Scope 3 supplier engagement in other sectors.
The session will include peer discussion on barriers preventing suppliers from moving from intent to action and identify interventions to enable faster, scalable progress. It will also highlight a near‑term opportunity for companies with Illinois‑based sites or suppliers to join a community solar cohort that delivers financial savings while supporting decarbonization goals.
